The City of Celina annually rents the boat docks at Mercelina Harbor (hot-water hole). The previous season's dock users have until April 4 to renew their docking permit. After that date, a lottery system is used to rent any of the remaining docks.

The procedure for new individuals desiring to rent these docks is as follows:

1. A check for $295.00 payable to the City of Celina and delivered to the Celina City Auditor, 2nd Floor of City Hall, P.0. Box 297, Celina, Ohio 45822 no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 4. Only one application will be accepted per household. You MUST currently own a boat and supply the requested information below to qualify for a dock.
2. Provide the following information for the boat you wish to dock:
   1. Length of Boat
   2. State Boat Identification Number (OH-#XXXXXXXX)
   3. Boat Manufacturer/Make
   4. Boat Type (Inboard / Outboard)

If any boat docks are available on April 5, the new requests will be entered in a random drawing to determine who will receive a dock. Any undrawn applications and checks will be returned promptly to the individuals. The unsuccessful requests will be held for the season and will be offered to them if docks would become available during year.

During the summer season, you may be requested to move your boat to accommodate special lake events. Alternatives may be available during these special events. Access to and from the lake and the boat basin may be limited during special events.

CURRENT DOCK RENTERS MAY REQUEST TO CHANGE LOCATIONS WITHIN THE BOAT BASIN. REQUESTS MUST BE INDICATED UPON RENEWAL AND APPROXIMATE LOCATION MUST BE MADE. UNRENTED DOCKS ON APRIL 5 WILL BE CHANGED BASED ON EARLIEST RENEWAL DATES.
