Holiday Message From The Mayor
While Thanksgiving Day is past and Christmas is now here, we should be thankful
for each other and the opportunities we have right here at home. We are blessed
with our families and friends. And we should all focus not on what we can get, but
rather what we can give to others. We offer a quality of life that other communinties
can envy, and for that we should be thankful. This Holiday season is another
opportunity to be an encouragement to our families, friends, and the less fortunate.
I wish for you the Spirit of Christmas, which is Joy, Peace, Hope and Love that you
can share. Invest in others – the return is priceless!
On behalf of the City of Celina, we are honored for the opportunity to serve.
Wishing you a Joyous Christmas and Prosperous New Year,
Mayor Jeffrey S. Hazel

Drive-up Utility and City Tax Payment Drop Box Now in Place
A new drop box has been installed for your convenience
at 225 North Main Street (near the west entrance).
Now you can drive up and make your utility and City tax payments
without leaving your vehicle.
Once again the Winter season is approaching. With it comes snow and ice.
You can assist with snow removal in several ways:
· Residents are not to blow or shovel snow into city streets or allow
private contractors hired to plow their driveways to do so.
· All vehicles must be moved from the street when an accumulation of
snow is expected to allow plowing while preventing vehicles from being buried or damaged.
· For safety, stay as far away from snow plows as possible.
· Keep children away from snow plows.
· Keep parked cars off the street during snow events.
· Do not attempt to pass a snow plow.
· Do not attempt to drive through deep snow.
· Keep sidewalks clear of snow and ice.
To provide a more thorough and quicker snow removal service, residents are reminded
not to park their vehicles on the street after a snowfall.
By Ordinance, residents and businesses are required to keep their sidewalks in repair and
free of ice, snow, debris, and obstructions.
Although Grass Mowing Season is now behind us for the year PLEASE BE AWARE

The City has free mulch available for public pickup at the City's compost facility (former landfill) on Summit Street. The high quality mulch, which has not been treated or dyed, was made from tree limbs and leaves picked up over the past year by the City.
City crews will be available to load mulch into residents' pick-up trucks and or trailers from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon each Saturday in May, while supplies last. Residents unable to pick up mulch during the scheduled loading dates and times are permitted to use their own loading and hauling equipment at their convenience.
